Question

I have not filed my taxes for the following years 2006, 2007 and 2008. I also can't find the W-2 forms for those years. I was told by the IRS I can deduct state, local and property taxes. Where can I locate the amount of taxes I paid for those 3 years.

The best way to get copies of W-2 forms - is to contact your employer (or former employers) and ask for duplicates.

You may get copies of W2s from Social Security Administration (the fee is $37.00 per tax year)

Call 1-800-772-1213

or write a request to SSA, Division of Earnings Records Operations, PO Box 33003, Baltimore, MD XXXXX-XXXX.

If for some reason this doesn't work for you - there are some businesses that offer fast services (fee required):

For state tax information - contact Pennsylvania Department of Revenue

-- for personal income tax - XXX-XXX-XXXX.
-- for Property Tax - XXX-XXX-XXXX.

or walk-in your local Philadelphia office - see contact information here - http://www.revenue.state.pa.us/revenue/cwp/view.asp?A=6&Q=226810

You may search your property tax online - http://brtweb.phila.gov/brt.apps/Search/Disclaimer/disclaimer.aspx?url=search
