Hello wchaudhry,

I was reading the other questions you had with nick, If you replaced the PCM and its still acting up, You have either a wire shorted to ground to the fan relay or you have something else wrong that is making the PCM turn the fan on. I can instruct you on how to check the circuit from the PCM to the relays to see if they are grounded or not. To check to see if something else is making the fans to come on, you need a scan tool that can read data from the PCM.

Have you had codes checked on this yet?

no i did not because there is no check engine light on so no code to read

Answer

Its always good to check. There may be a code that does not set the light off.

Yea, It needs a scan tool hooked up to see what is out of range and causing the fans to come on.

DO the unlock and lock both don't work?
How about passenger side?

so you think i should take the car to the dealer because i took it to the AAMCO transmission shop they have the ASE certified mechanis but they could not figer it out .

Answer

Here are a couple of possibilities on the fan issue:
The wire is shorted to ground between the PCM and fan relay
There is high resistance in the coolant temp sender circuit for computer.
The a/c pressure switch circuit is shorted.
Or a bad program in the PCM.

AS far as the door lock problem, Give me a few minutes to look up the wiring for it. A lot of times I see a broken wire in the boot between the door and the body.

well i did unpluhg the AC pressure switch i did install the new coolant sensor neither one worked .and i have just instal the brand new PCM.well i guess then there is short some where in the wire from pcm to relays

So the drivers lock switch will work the passenger side lock but not the drivers side?

yes both side swirh lock and unlock the passanger side door but neither do the driver side.

Answer

You need to check the wiring to the actuator. Pull the connector off to the actuator and hook a test light up to the 2 wires in the connector and cycle the locks and see if it light the test light. If it lights the test light, The new actuator is at fault. If it does not light the test light, ohm the gray wire and the tan wire from the lock actuator to the drivers window switch. The wires go from the actuator to the switch on the drivers side with a splice in it that goes to the passenger side. So if the passenger lock works, you have either a faulty lock actuator or a short or an open wire between the splice and the actuator.

okay the gray wire do light up the test light but the tan one dont i have try to follow the tabn wire all the way in side to the car but did not find any short or broken wire even in the boot between door and body s i gues i am half way now ?

Posted by Dan 55 days ago.

Answer

Both the tan and the gray wire willl have a ground with the switch not pushed. When push lock The Gray wire will have power and when push unlock, the tan should have power.

no tan dont have any power when pushed unlock ? i have tried many time do u think i might have a bad driver side switch?

Posted by Dan 54 days and 10 hours ago.

Answer

If the drivers side switch was bad, the passenger side would not unlock. Since the passenger side lock works when you push the unlock button on the drivers side, you have an open wire in the tan wire between the connector for the actuator and where the passenger side wire splices int that wire going to the lock switch.
Did you find the splice when you traced the wire in the door?

54 days and 8 hours ago.

Reply

NO I DID NOT BUT I DID FIND THE SPLICE IN THE GRAY WIRE . I WENT ALL THE WAY INSIDE TO THE CAR I TOOK THE BOT OFF AND STILL NOT SEE THE SPLICE IN TAN WIRE SO IF YOU CAN TELL ME IF IT MIGHT BE IN SIDE THE CAR OR IT HAS TO BE IN DOOR PLZ LET ME KNOW.

Mr dan i am waiting on you let me know if u can help i hv check the wire but i did any splice unless it might be in passanger side door ?

Answer

Here is a picture Splice S504 is on the gray wire and Splice S503 is on the tan wire. A splice is where 3 wires come together. It is taped in the harness on the drivers door. Sorry it took so long to reply.
