ok out of these codes there is 10 different possibilities. i want to help but w/o the scan tool and get some certain reading while the engine is running i can tell you to replace xxx
and still will not correct your problem
i have a feeling you have a couple of items to change
i would love to tell you replace this and will fix it but i do not think that will be that easy
i do not want to get you angry and lead u in a wild goose chase
do u know anyone that has a scanner that they can rent out to u?
Thanks for being honest with me. Unfortunately, I don't know anybody who could lend me the scanner. However, after my mechanic scanned and cleaned the codes, we started the car, and in a few minutes the codes came back again. Also there is a kind of click when you put it on D (the car is automatic). The transmission seems to work fine but sometimes it changes the gears with noise (this first time happened after the check engine light came on). The mechanic said it might be from those codes we get. According to him, these codes have something to do with how engine works and thus they might affect driving. Any ideas?

i would recommend to take the vehicle to a good import repair facility that knows vw brand and how to fix them correctly the first time
