Question

I installed a 350 LT1 and 4L60E from a 94 TransAm in my 90 Chevy Silverado shortbed pickup. The truck had a 350 TBI and 4L60. I am using the TransAm computer to run the engine and tranny. The truck computer is running everything in the cab. I want to use the truck speedometer and cruise control, but I can't get the speed signal from the tranny to speedo and cruise control. HELP.

OK first thing, I can't imagine or understand why or how you think this is going to work. I can't even understand how you got both computers to hook up. You can't do this even if you wired them in somehow. The systems are fighting each other. If you want the system to work you are going to have to choose witch computer to use. Since it is not a TBI system any more you have no choice but to use the LT1 computer. That means you will need the wiring harness from the other vehicle or call Painless Wiring to get a harness for your truck with the motor and transmission your are using.
