Question

i bought a replacement battery for my Volvo 1800. the terminal sizes are the opposite from the original, pos.terminal the larger on new batt..Is this the correct battery or will new batt. be ok?

Will the battery fit in the compartment? and are the cables long enough to reach the correct post?

yes,cables reach and battery fits compartment.

Accepted Answer

You should be fine as long as it fits and can be secured down. All batteries are basically the same except size and post comfiguration. Well cranking amps are different, but with a bigger battery you are all the better.
