Question

I have a 2004 Winnebago Itasca 35' Sunova. The living room slide doesen't go out. The error code shows the problem may be"No Encoder Signal detected on the Front Actuator". The Description shows "Faulty encoder/harness". This info is from the Sonova 2004 Operator Manual. Can you provide further explanation of this. Where is the Front Actuator located and what is the Encoder?

Hi Mel,
It will be the encoder that is bad,it is mounted on the end of the motor,at the end of the slide rail. Here is a download on the encoder and the part numbers for it.You can order them from Stagg Parkway.
On a couple of the units I have done, the encoder is not easy to get to,I have cut a hole in the compartment to access it and put a cover back over it and sealed the access panel, made the job much easier.
