Question

I've noticed a dull ache on my lower right abdomen for the past week that comes and goes, but is more noticeable when walking. I thought I had pulled a groin because I noticed it after doing a leg press workout, but I don't seem to have pain on my inner thigh or the nether regions if that's where it would be. I also thought a bladder infection, but I don't have those symptoms only of wanting to urinate alot; then again, I drink ALOT of water. I will contact my doctor once the offices open, but thought I'd check online to see if a physician could give me some insight and not worry as much as I already do.

Optional Information

Gender: Female
Age: 40

Already Tried:
I have taken Aleve and Tylenol, but it's temporary relief. The ache comes and goes, it's not persistent and/or daily; however, today, it seems to be persistent. I now noticed that when I cross my legs, the ache radiates to where my groin is..... I will be contacting my primary physician in an hour when their offices open. Thank you in advance.

Hello,
I would recommend getting a pelvic exam - you might have an ovarian cyst or possibly an appendicitis (although unlikely). Also, if you can get a pelvic ultrasound prior to the the doctor's visit - this would help in diagnosing your problem. I hope this helps, please take care.
