i have a 97 monte carlo, and i just bought a vr3 cd player for my car, i wired it up, and a little bit later, my battery was drained, i found out it was the wire that turns my amplifier on, do u have any suggestions on why that one wire would drain the battery?

hi, if you have a constant draw on that wire going to the amp it will drain the battery ,by leaving the amp on when the key if off.the correct wire will only turn on the amp when the key is on ...guy
