is there a correct and incorrect way for lab puppies to lay down, considering their propensity to hip problems?

Answer

While there are lots of "old wives tales" about this subject, there's no evidence to suggest that a puppy could lay down in a position that would lead to joint problems later on. It is true that puppies with shallow hips can lay in some funny positions in their hind end, but we must be careful not to draw the wrong conclusion from this.
