Info Request

Hi,
Your data should have 2 columns for side measurements of the block. One column should have all three measurements of length, breadth and height made by a ruler and another column should have these measured by a vernier calliper. Should I modify the values to make them look more correct ? Here's the modified data

ruler

vernier caliper

length

3.48 cm+/- 0.03 cm

3.46 cm+/- 0.01 cm

width

2.53 cm+/- 0.03 cm

2.54 cm+/- 0.01 cm

height

2.00 cm+/- 0.03 cm

2.00 cm+/- 0.01 cm

Tell me if I should proceed with this.
Thanks.

Forgot to mention that no ruler was used, just three trials using the vernier caliper. Other than that, you can proceed.

So you want me to complete them with data for vernier caliper only ? And should I used the caliper measurements that I tabulated above ?

I 've adjusted uncertainty to .01 because it can't be greater than the least count of caliper. You've noted the uncertainty as 0.2 cm which is greater than the least count. It shouldn't be.
