I feel worthless, and lonely as hell. I really don't know why I was born for I seem to not belong anywhere - even in my own family. I have no family who has ever called to just say hello, or friends to hang out with. Sometimes death looks more and more attractive to me. I want to live, and I want to succeed, and I want to be happy, but these goals are starting to feel lofty at best. I am scared...please help me?

Hi,
Is there a possibility you have depression?
It sounds to me, from what you're saying that you might have a low grade depression. Some of the symptoms include feeling down, lonely, different than other people, and alienated.
Some people feel really depressed or tired, and some just feel lifeless. People say that they can get up and go out, but with great effort and when they come home, they feel exhaustion.
