outlook express 6 when replying. forwarding or sending a new e-mail get error message but error tab is blank and infact the e-mail is being sent over and over again. Error symbol in bottom righthand corner changes quickly to sending mail , sent and then reverts to error symbol all in a matter of seconds and repeats tghis evry minute or so. Can only stop repeat sendiong of mail by deleting in out box. Also can not drag deleted messages into sent box.

problem started approx 2 days ago. No problems receiving e-mails. ( can send e-mails without problems using microsoft outlook only have problems on outlook express. @tiny world.co.uk

Hello !!

I am sorry but from September 1, 2009, Microsoft has discontinued its service by which you can not "not" use Outlook express with hotmail account using the old way.

Now you have two option.
1. Delete your hotmail account in Outlook express and Add the same account again in Outlook express using instructions from this page : LINK
2. Use Windows Live Mail software (google it) - its free too

I do not understand since. 1st septmeber i have used outlook express numerous times each day ( as this is my business e-mail address ) without problems until beginning of this week. i do not have an @hotmail address. please explain more.

Sorry for the typing mistake. Yes I know you have @tiny world.co.uk email account in it.

But does that account uses Imap or Pop access ?

If it uses Imap then you need to conver it to Pop.

ERROR MESSAGE: says some errors occurred while processing the requested tasks. Please review the list of errors below. But in under the errors tab page is blank no error number or message !!

What is your outgoing server port number .. if its 25 .. pls make it 587 and see

made the change this did not work but got the following ERROR Message;
the connection to the server has failed. Tiscali server SMTP tiscali.co.uk Protocol SMPT Port 587 Secure (SSL ) No Socket error 10060 Error No OX800CCCOE.
do this make sense ? do i revert to orinal setting 25 ?

Yes, you may make it back to 25.

Can you please goto this link and make sure your settings match 100% :
http://www.tiscali.co.uk/help/email/oe_settings.html

If they do, then I am afraid that you are facing the issue because of the new Microsoft settings and this tiscali server seems not be compatible anymore.

Windows Mail is the best free option that you have. Else Outlook 2007 ...
