Hi, thanks for asking!

I have made those instructions into a pdf file and then uploaded them for you to download for review.

You can get them by clicking > here <

Hope it helps.. it is pretty straightforward, though.. as you can see, there are not even pictures for it.

My shift indicator light seems to have a short in it and the mode button for the transmission isn't working either. if i wiggle the wire the lights work (obviously indicating a short). the problem is, i can't seem to disconnect the wire plug. is there a tool or a trick?

OK. I have not been inside one of them, but I can assure you that if there is some kind of 'lock' on the connector, it will be in plain view.Sometimes you have to even get a small (electronics) screwdriver and pry the connectors loose... Being that it lights up when you wiggle it, there will be a problem in that connector anyways. When they crimp the terminal to the wire, sometimes they put them too tight, and it cuts into the wire.

Even looking in the instructions, it just says to 'disconnect it', and does not give a view of the connnector. If it is just a problem grabbing it.. I usually find a set of bent needle nose pliers to grab the connector, and pull it loose.
