Question

I have a Neptune MLG2000AWW and have a loud noise when washer is in spin or rinse. sounds like bad bearing to me but not sure and your parts list not clear if there is a bearing like the dryer drum has. what are the common troubles related to this sound?

Hey Paul

You are correct there is a rear bearing on this unit and it is a very common issue on these units. Not cheap to fix though click here
The bearing is part of the rear tub assembly.

Thanks, only a couple more questions please. What the time on this for a tech to do it and how much of a challenge for an auto tech/ fabricator to replace the drum? any chance or bite the bullet and pay for it??
