i have been taking citalopram 20 mm for 4 months, i stoped taking them 2 weeks ago completley, i have been feeling quite light headed for about the last week, it comes and goes, last only for a second or 2, but happens most of the day, could it be related to the fact that i stopped the prscription suddenley ?

Yes, the symptoms, you are experiencing after you have stopped Citalopram, is due to withdrawal symptoms.
When a person suddenly stops the medications, then he experiences- dizziness, vertigo, headache , anxiety symptoms.
Ideally, the dose of Citalopram should be slowly tapered off.
Yes, your symptoms are due to the fact, that you stopped the prescription suddenly.
you can take OTC medication Tab. Dimenhydrinate(Dramamine) for dizziness . Also see your doctor for further checkup.
