Hi DRS,
Skat Trak and Solas make quality after market impellers. If you are going to replace yours, I strongly suggest going with a stainless steel impeller, if you didn't already have one. SS is much more efficient than aluminum, mainly because stainless is stronger and the blades can be thinner, allowing it to move more water through the pump, compared to the aluminum.
Those after market impellers come with installation tools. The stock impeller should have a hex above the blades that you put a wrench on to remove.
The only special tool you will need for that is a spline tool. That is a hex shaped tool that has internal splines that fit the drive shaft splines perfectly. You clamp the outside (hex) part in a vise to prevent the shaft from turning while you tighten or loosen the prop.
You should not have to replace your bearings and seals in the stator housing of the pump. If you do, I urge you to allow a shop to do it for you. take them the bare pump and let them press it apart. It is hardly worth investing in a hydraulic press for a one time job.
If you have any more questions, feel free to ask!
Thanks
