Question

Our English Bull Dog started on Atopica today and I want to know if it is safe to give him Bendadryl also. He had a.5 mg. Prendnisone and Benadryl yesterday but nothing so far but the Atopica today. Is it okay to give him Benadryl til this kicks in. Thank you

Pet's Age: 5

Already Tried:
Atopica today and Prendnisone and Bendadryl yesterday

Accepted Answer

It is completely safe to use those medications together -- there are no drug interactions of any significance between Atopica and Benadryl.

Atopica can cause some stomach upset in the first few days, but Benadryl is not expected to worsen that at all.
