Question

I have an 2004 Infiniti g35 coupe. the runk won't close all the way down on the left side. It sits about an eighth of an inch high and seperated from the left. Enough space for water to leak in if it rains. It's visibly noticeable. Is there an adjustment to make?

Greetings XXXXXXXXX,
You can adjust the latch/striker assy and you can also adjust the mountings where the trunk hinges meet the lid...Try both adjustments on the left side and see if you can close the gap...If not, you may have a bent or "sprung" hinge on the left side that will require a body shop to realign...This condition can be caused by high winds when trunk lid is open....wind catches the lid and bends the hinge assy...jeffrey590
