Question

I am trying to identify an antique flashlight marked on the bottom 1881 Rogers 5607; the base is 6" in diameter; the center is 2" high with a one and three-eighths inch diameter hole 1" deep in the center to hold a candle; there is a ring attached to the edge of the base for a finger to hold the device. It has a floral filigree etched into the base. It appears to be sterling silver, not silverplate.

Dear XXX XXXXX,

It would be nice if you had a picture to provide.

This make and model is not listed in the flashlight museum. http://www.flashlightmuseum.com/flashlights.cfm

so you must have a very rare find.

are you able to upload an image.?

This does not sound like a flahslight. It sounds more like a designer huricane candle or table candel. Rogers and Oneida Rogers are known for such table ware, and designed with filigree. A photo would be helpful?
