Question
Hi. I am knitting a baby wrap sweater. I am currently working on the left front. what the patterns says is: "cont in st-st, dec 1 st at front edge as set on every foll RS row and inc 1 st at side edge as for Back on next row and 4 foll 6th". does anyone know what that means? I know I am decreasing something and increasing something but it doesn't tell me how? and the "foll" parts? I just don't get it. this is my first sweater. thanks! Kim

Answer
Hi Kim,
Sounds like a great project! It can be confusing if you don't know all the lingo. "Foll" means 'follow, follows, following'. 'RS' means 'right side, for instance the outside of a sweater. Stated to indicate which side is facing you when carrying out instructions'.
You can see all the other abbreviations, here:

I wish you the best of luck and hope the baby wrap sweater comes out great!
