Question

I HAVE A 1990 CAMARO RS. I AM NOT GETTING GAS IN THROTTLEBODY. I AM GETTING GAS INTO FUEL METER BODY. I REMOVED INJECTORS, AND CHECKED FILTERS, AND THEY ARE CLEAN. HOW CAN I CHECK INJECTORS TO MAKE SURE THAT THEY ARE OK? I DO NOT WANT TO BUY NEW ONES IF I DON'T HAVE TO, SINCE THEY ARE SO EXPENSIVE. ALSO, IF THEY ARE ALRIGHT, WHAT ELSE COULD BE PREVENTING THE FUEL FROM GETTING INTO THROTTLEBODY? FUEL PUMP IS WORKING, AND I PUT NEW FILTER ON.

sounds like you have the fuel injected carb.type.
if your injectors are not working, means that
the ignition moduale in the distibutor is bad.
the module also tells the comp.when to pulse
the injectos

You indicated you changed the filter, but were not clear which one. Some TBI systems have small O-ring type filters on the output end of the injectors made of a brass or wire mesh. These are hard to see when dirty, should be replaced and never just cleaned and can stop up the system, check these also. If you are sure you have fuel and proper pressure to the meter, then pull and check the fuse block to see if any of the ign/fuel, TBI or other fuses are blown. Replace if so. If not, there should be a plug on top of each injector. You can carfully detach the plugs (they sometimes become brittle) and test them with what is called a NOID lite that simply replaces the injector, or a DVM. You should be able to rent or borrow NOID from a local parts store. Once plugged in crank the motor several times to see if the NOID flashes. If you can not obtain a light measure from ground to each side of the plug with the meter and have someone crank the motor. You should see a quick spike in the voltage on the DVM. If either proves true the circuit to the injectors is good, indicating the problem is in the injectors.
