Question

Weekend garage door opener project. We have four garage doors. Three are opened by a Raynor motor, one is by Genie. I'd like to get them all on the same remote control, so that from a single remote, all doors can be opened. Idea on how an all thumbs guy can do this?

Hello .. I do not think that you will be able to coordinate the door recievers to open all with one remote .. but then you would have them all opening when you only need one ?? ,, I have a sugestion if you want them to all open at once ... I had to get an aftermarket opener for one of my doors .. it is a remote set that plugs into the door opener and bypasses the reciever .. much like the on the wall pushbutton , but wireless .. you may be able to find sets like this that youcan program to open all the doors with one remote and 4 recievers ..

Maybe I didn't explain myself well. I definitely do not want all four going up and down at the same time. I want a single remote that has four buttons, that can be programed for each of the four -- in other words, button one opens and closes door 1, button two does the same for button two, etc. In other words, is there a garage opener type product that, like a tv remote control that can be programmed to turn on not only the TV, but another electronic device that is nearby and is made by a different manufacturer?
