Question
In 1 week I have been through 2 batteries in my 2004 Alero. It doesn't seem to hold the charge. I suspect the ground as since I've brought it in the shop to get my window mechanism that brings the window up and down repaired last week, I've been getting some nasty shocks from my door and now my battery is dead, even after putting in a brand new one from last Sunday and now we are Friday. What can be the cause?

Optional Information
Year: 2004
Make: Oldsmobile
Model: Alero
Engine: V6
Already Tried:
I have replaced the old battery that has been in the car since I've bought my Alero in 2006 last Sunday Sept.6/09 which I have not had any problems with at all. Now we are Friday Sept. 11/09 and my new battery that I bought on Sunday Sept. 6/09 has barely enough energy in it to bring up my windows.
I brought my car in Last Friday to have my car repaired. My window would come up but wouldn't go down, if it did, it would fall inside the door. One mechanic opened the door panel and said that one of the brackets that holds the window was broken and gave me the part. When I brought my car to the auto dealer where I have always brought my car for it's maintenance, he said he had to open the door and look at it himself which told me that the whole mechanism the track and the brackets needed to be changed....$600 later bring my car home and now this. When I started my car before bringing it back home the time on my car clock needed to be reset and my radio stations. Now I'm getting shocks when I touch my car and my batteries don't hold their charge.
I called the auto dealership and I have to bring back my car and the mechanic explained that it had nothing to do with the work he did in my car. Why is this happening?
