I have a 2005 Jayco 23B Travel Trailer with a RVP 8000 A/C. I have developed a small leak when it rains. I cannot find where the leak is coming from. Any suggestions.

Hi There!!!

Thanks for Choosing Just Answer...

99% of the time when an AC unit leaks it is the gasket that the AC unit sits on. If you remove the plastic interior cover for the AC unit you should see 4 or 5 very long mounting bolts, these secure the AC unit to the roof and the gasket is under the ac unit. Make sure these are not loose, should be 10 MM socket... Snug each one up first and then put only about 3 more turns on them, you do not want to over tighten these bolts or you could have performance issues.... hope this helps.... IF you have more questions or concerns please feel free to contact me..
