Have you read about the deep breathing techniques and have you tried this when you are feeling dizzy or sick and when you get chest pressure and shortness of breath or palpitations? I was hoping you would read them and try the exercises.
The links I sent you explain in more detail how our bodies chemical responses can cause these symptoms. If you were to read this and how to do the deep breathing and then you did it and it worked, then this would help us to know that indeed your problem is related to how you are responding (or not responding) in your every day life.
But, if you did the exercises properly and they did not help, then it would be obvious that there is something else going on that still needs to be determined.
For example I still think that you should have a toxicology test done to rule out any type of poisoning. This can occur for reasons that one would not expect. Especially if you still have a metallic taste in your mouth. You are also reporting a taste of blood now. Do you have any pain in your stomach or esophagus area? How are your gums? Do they bleed easily? Another test that can be done, especially warranted if you tried the breathing exercises when you have these symmptoms and they have not worked, is a urine catecholamine test, and to wear a heart monitor at home for a few days to see if any heart arrythmias occur. There is a rare problem called pheochromocytoma that can cause symptoms similar to what you are reporting. You can ask your doctor about these tests.
