Question

my doctor prescribed me flagyl and gave me extra pills to give my boyfriend. He told me not to be alarmed b/c its not an std. where did I get this illness from and is this something I should began to question my boyfriend about?

it is unlikely that the doctor will treat your partner unless it is a sexually transmitted disease. if it is not then your partner doesnt need to be treated. my thing call your doctor and ask the name of disease and then ask your boyfriend if you are only active with him.

he sd it is bacterial infection..and i did several std exams and h had showed me papers from lab showing I tested negative for std's so I am confused.

well the issue is if it is not an STD why would he treat your partner. either he still thinks that it could be an std despite the negative regular lab work or he is just playing it safe by treating your partner . no other bacterial infection requires treating partner with flagyl.
