i have a 1998 740il. i have notice that my rpm is slightly high when i idling. when i am about to come to a fullstop at a light. there is a slight jump forward. last week warning sign ( Tansmission safe mode ) warning came on but went away after about 2 mminutes.. any suggestions?

Good morning I am gentry 314 I will try to assist you. There is a malfuntion in your trans what you need to do is check your fluids make sure full and clean. Have you system scanned to see if any trans codes weere set. So if there is a failure it can be corrected as soon as possible.
