can you hear the motor running when you use remote or key ?those oney noise come from lock trying to see if you have power before we go what part is broken ?

i can tell you but i cant give you any picture instruction when you go to trunk open you will see cover on the trunk lid hold with a clips you have to pry out all the clips and cover will come out in the trunk lid now that done you will need to unplug power from the trunk lock and lock from under front side you will see 2 bolts torx size t45 or t50 remove that and lock is out reinstall new lock but buy the lock first if you do it so you can picture it how it goes in and comes out
no problem.
