Question

Ok .. Kinda long this one is. ... Back in November of 2006 I was charged and convicted of a DUI in Texas. I was only 20 years old. ... I then moved out of state and was put on the mail in case load but quit paying my fine every month. ... Here it is three, almost four years later and Im trying to figure out if there is anything I can do. ... My license is still suspended, and that also needs to be fixed. ... The court appointed attorney I received did absolutely nothing to defend me. ... If I knew then what I knew now, I wouldve told on myself (I had a drug problem) and received treatment for that issue then instead of a year later. ... I really need some legal advice here. Thanks so much!

Remember, sometimes the law under which your situation falls does not give you the outcome or the choices you wanted - please understand that this is not the attorney's fault, but the way of circumstance.

There might be a delay between your follow up questions and my answers because I may be helping other clients or taking a break.
