Question

I was recently involved in a work related accident where I was driving a bus for the nursing home that I worked at. I was ticketed for non licensed operation expiration date of my license was 8/27/99. I was ticketed for this same offense w/in the last 10 years. A resident was injured in this accident also. This occurred in New York State. I did not intentionally not renew my license. I have been under a lot of stress d/t the fact that I had been overseeing the care of my brother who passed away last November and I also am overseeing my 79 year old mother who has alzheimer's dementia. I also worked at a highly stressful job full time until I was forced to retire d/t this latest accident. What can I expect for a penalty when I go to court? Thank you. Phyllis A.
