Question

Our GE Model ESS25XGMDBB Refrigerator is not getting cold anymore. We have turned up temperature to 9, checked for leaks on door, checked for icing on the back (none) and it is still not getting cold. Anything else to check before having to call someone for repair?

Yes - hear fan running inside freezer. And from what I can tell, I don't think the compressor is running.

Answer

ok you have a bad board in this. this is located behind a panel on the back of the refrigerator usually on the right side near the bottom there will be 1/4" screws holding the cover on, remove this cover (unplug refrigerator first) and replace the board. you can get this board @ http://midwayparts.net/midwayparts/zen-cart-v1.3.8a-full-fileset-12112007/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2&products_id=152 just click the blue link and it will take you to the page. part # wr55x10942, this will fix your problem, well wishes and thanks , Bryan

We turned the temp., to 0 for 12 hours and the temp., inside has started to cool down.

Answer

ok well let it go until it gets down to the right temperature and then set it on factory settings , if you continue to have problems after that then replace the board , thanks Bryan
