i get no service light or any other indication of a problem except at idle sometimes theres a split second miss every now and then besides this my bmw performs great.

2006 bmw 325i with 52,000 mi.,inline 6 engine.i tried 93 octane fuel.

Thats carbon build up on the valves. Very common lately. I personally fix 3 or more vehicles a week including half are BMW's. You can get the carbon cleaning done at any dealer or independant shop. The ususal charge is about $125. After you do it to keep it from building up would be to run a strong fuel injector cleaner once every 3000 miles.
