Question

I have a cpe24-1ab. The compressor works but the fan is off.The r and df leads off the PCB board do not have 24 volts. Any ideas?

Since your compressor is running we know you have voltage.

 

Either your fan motor has gone out, or the thermal overload has opened the circuit.

 

If the overload is open, you either have a mechanical problem within the motor or your capacitor need to be replaced.

 

The cheapest scenario is if your capacitor is out.

 

Here is a picture of a capacitor.

 

Capacitors should not have any oil or bulges on them.
