Hello,
An headache, even on rest days with nausea, dizziness, loss of taste, vision problem will need further investigations like MRI of the brain and a neurologist's evaluation. Migraine or tension headaches are the commonest causes for the headaches but in her age group brain lesions like cerebrovascular problems, some growth in brain etc should be ruled out by the medical imaging.
Usually a loss of taste is not a serious problem and can occur due to Vitamin B-12 or zinc deficiency, sore throat, salivary gland disorders, common colds, dental and gums problems and is self resolving, but in her case this would need further evaluation.
Please feel free for your follow up questions.
