The air flow through the dryer is restricted. There are two areas in the machine to check for lint build up. The first, of course, is the lint filter you pull out from the front of the dryer. The second area is where the air exits the dryer into the outside vent hose. To check that area, pull the dryer away from the wall, and remove the flex hose at the dryer flange. Check both the vent hose and look into the vent hole in the dryer for a build up of lint.
If cleaning these areas does'nt solve the problem, please post back to me.

How many years have you used the dryer?
When a digital controller is installed in an appliance at the factory, a protective plastic film is placed over the keypad to protect during shipping and installation of the appliance.
This plastic film should be removed before the appliance is used. The same type of protection is used on cell phone screens, etc.
If the film isn't removed before using the appliance, the controller will work for a while, but, as the plastic degrades from the heat and steam, it starts to peel off the keypad.
Since the controller takes touch commands, it begins to becomes intermittant in its operation. Lightly scratch the corners of the keypad with a fingernail to see if this film is still on the keypad.
