Question

we have acustomer with a 1595 d/w that keeps haveing water left in the bottom ,when finished . when I testran it , it was ok and only acted up one time ,and then when it was finished with the cycle . the water in the drain hose came back into the unit . Is there a check valve in the pump or drain hose ?? jeff

Already Tried:
cleaned sump the screens were badly plugged checked air gap at sink and pump ,they all checked ok

There is not a check valve on this particular unit. You need to make sure to run the drain hose all the way up to the top of the counter and then come back down into either your garbage disposal or stand pipe for the drain line to drain. Adding that height to the drain line will prevent water from backflowing into the dishwasher.
