Hi XXXXXXXXXX,

Welcome to Just Answer and thanks for your query.

When you hibernate in Windows XP, the system creates a large file that stores all the settings, windows that are active so that when it comes back from hibernation, it could restore the EXACT situation when it wwnt into hibernation.

If there are some activities like, playing a audio/video, burning a disc or sometimes even playing a game, that can cause trouble in creating a image of that moment.
It goes into hibernation but is not in a situation to restore the image back.

That is the meaning of the error you are getting. Not much can be done.

Just go ahead and delete the restoration data and proceed with system booting.

You did not give me any specifics on how to delete the restoration data and proceed with system booting. On my own, before I got reply, I again shut off, took out battery and replaced. Turned system on and same message. Then pressed enter and was back in business with no problems. Your information was not helpful and not worth the price.

I tried to explain WHY this error came.

I know it just needs a simple press of the Enter key. And this is what i meant, when i said "Just go ahead and delete the restoration data and proceed with system booting."

If you still think this didnt help you, No worries....

I am clicking "accept" but am 100% totally unsatisfied with the response that I received. The $18 I am paying is disgraceful. In the future, please give your customers relevant information that is is explanatory and worth the price. Do not contact me again!
