Hiya,
At 8 months old the appliance will still be under warranty so you may actually invalidate the warranty if you try to repair it yourself.
Having said that, the most likely cause is a blockage which may not be covered by warranty. Bit of a catch 22 situation.
Anyways,
Unplug the appliance, take the top and side panels off.
Follow the hoses from the water bottle down and you'll come to a pump.
Note where the hoses connect, take them off and blow up them to confirm they are clean and clear.
Take the pump out and remove any debris you find blocking the pump and preventing it from turning.
Clean out the pump water reservoir and ensure the float isn't stuck, activating the switch.
Reassemble the appliance and try it again.
I've had to make some assumptions on the cabinet of your appliance as we don't have a model number. If the side panels don't come off then you are looking at the rear panel or an external pump are at the bottom rear.
Have a look at it and see how it goes together, the rest of the advise is still correct, only the access may be different.
It may be worth calling F&P regarding a warranty repair on it first, see if it's covered or chargeable.
Hope this helps
Let me know how it goes
Thanks
