Question

Hello, I have the Honeywell Vision PRO Th8320u 1008 series. The low battery light was blinking, I changed the batteries now it will not the thermostat will not work. I took my Thermostat from down stairs and put it up stairs and the air came on. The thermostats are both the same. What is wrong with the thermostat? Is there a reset button(can't see one)?

Optional Information

Make : Honeywell Vision PRO
Model : TH8ooo series specific model is TH8320u1008 0724

Already Tried:
Everything. The thermostat screen is on and changes to my command but it is not cutting on the air. I took my thermostat from downstairs and put it upstairs in its place so I know the problem is the thermostat itself. I had changed the batteries and ever since the thermostat will not "kick on" With the other themostat in place it will but I need that one for downstairs of course. I have a warranty but they will replace it for a fee of labour etc which is ridiculus to me. I emailed honeywell and I am waiting for a response for them just to send a replacement. Wanting to know if there is a way to reset it after batteries have been replaced if that is the problem.

Hi,

In the manual there is an installer setup function that allows you to set the thermostat back to the factory defaults.

Page 9, if you haven't tried this give it a try, other than that some thermostats had a reset button that you had to press with a small pin inside of a small hole, its visible when removing the front cover if you have it, if you don't see it there then you don't have it available on your thermostat.

Thanks

I tried resetting. While looking for a reset area I found a c2032 battery, I replaced it and then reset the system and it still did not work. Thank You

Hi,

It sounds like you will probably end up replacing the thermostat, will they replace under warranty ?

Thanks
