The rabbit mating process is really quick and may be as short as 3-5 seconds so you may have seen a mating or they may have mated when you were not observing them.
If you pair up male and female rabbits without altering one or both of them then you are likely going to have a litter.
Its good they are both dwarfs as if the male were larger then it could be a risk for the female carrying the kits.

You will need more cages unless you already have homes lined up for the babies.
The doe should get to be alone with her nest box.
I'd suggest while mother nature is working on bringing you more rabbits that you consider getting your boy neutered so they can safely be together again without the risk of more rabbits showing up on a very frequent schedule.
