What is the best way to fix this. I have about a one inch gap along the entire side of my house where the house should be connecting to the concrete walkway. This gap has gotten larger over the years. It is a couple inches deep is some places. I believe I need something flexible because there will probably be more movement over the coming years. What is the best process we can use? Please respond ASAP as I need to fix it soon now that I have the time to do it. Thanks very much.

I would suggest using spray foam to fill the gaps
It expands and will be flexable
You can clean up the excess with a hacksaw blade

What is the foam made of? Does it have to be sealed or can it be painted? Will you please explain the clean up process a little more, referring to cleaning up with a hacksaw blade? B. Krol

this is the expandable foam it's made of poly propolene once it's hard you can cut off the excess with a hack saw blade
