How often is this problem occuring?
Do you think that if you try it now, it will act up?
Do you have a multi-meter to do some testing?
Please let me know and we'll figure it out...
Thanks Carguyjosh
Well, If you want my best educated guess,
I would recommend replacing the starter relay in the underhood fuse block...The relay maybe sticking and causing the starter to stay engaged...
Now, please understand that this would be the first thing that I would replace if I had to guess at the problem...The relay is the cheapest and the most common component for this type of failure...
The local parts store should have the relay for about $20..I recommend replacing it and then you will have to let me know if the problem persists...
If the problem reoccurs, I will need you to purchase a cheap multi-meter or test light to do some diagnostic work...
Like I said, Please don't hold me to this as a (for sure) answer, it is just the most likely cause...
Please let me know what you find...
