Question
We are have a new entry door ordered. The description says:
"Handing: Left In-Swing door."
What does that mean? If I am standing outside looking at the door, which side will have hinges and which the locks?
I have two different answers from the home improvement store and my contractor doesn't know until the door arrives.
Many thanks for your help.

Hi XXXXXXXXXXX
According to the standard nomenclature your description would indicate that the hinges would be on the left when you are standing outside. The real question is why can't the home improvement store where I assume you ordered the door give you a definitive answer?
