Question

my 03 accord won't start,has no check engine light,security light flashes steady,wont come out of park has no voltage to tps ,scanner wont read and i jumped the main relay and still nothing happens.The check engine light wont even come on when i send power to the ign 1 and 2 wires,i unplugged all the sensors i could find on engine and trans thinkin one was shorted but still dead computer??? please help

Already Tried:
checked relays ,unplugged sensors,checked for power at memory wire at computer,when i ground with a test light relay kicks on and sends power to computer at 2 yellow wires ,ign 1 and 2, no 5 volt reference with everthing plugged in,didnt try for voltage with trans connectors unplugged or sensors,but still had no check engine light.

the engine cranks,wont start but the engine and trans codes wont read,acts like computers dead, air bag and antilock read ok

have you replaced the battery or has it gone dead reciently, and you said the security light stays luminated?

no it hasen't gone dead and the security light flashes the whole time the key is on ,but i think it flashes because it can't communicate with the computer,it still should be able to be scanned if it was a bad key wouldn't it. i also tried another key and it did the same thing,maybe a clue is that the shifter wont release,the brake lights work also. i checked all fuses with a test light and they were all good .no aftermarket alarms

Often what i've seen with this year of accord is the same situation your describing. in one case it was the imobilizer in another it was the pcm and in the last one i had all that was needed was for it to be reprogramed by the honda hds. one thing you can try is get in the car with all doors shut and cycle the key on then off 5 times and then try to restart. If that doesn't work your more than likely going to find a honda repair shop that has the hds.
