Answer

Florida has no mandatory break or lunch laws for employees. The issue of lunch and breaks is at the discretion of the employer and the employer does not have to provide them. FL laws are heavily slanted in the favor of the employer, so absent your having a written contract that guaranteed you lunch breaks and other breaks, you had no entitlement to them.
