abs, foward arrow, traction lights keep coming on in dash on a 1999 volvo s70. goes in limp home mode. Is this a recall or how can I fix the prolbem. Tony

Can you read the codes out of the abs control unit or the transmission control unit?

took it to Volvo dealership all they did was download new software that was a recall after that started to have prolbems with dash lights coming on. foward arrow, abs and skid control lites. They said it has nothing to do with the computer download they did how can I fix it without costing me a lot of money. I'm retired on a small pension.

Well, I am not sure its going to be a cheap repair. This is what I think is the trouble, The ABS module has failed/is failing. I do know of some remanufactured units. When the ABS module fails, the transmission sets a code (arrow flashing). This is because the transmission without a speed signal forgets when to shift, and will go into a limp home mode. An estimate to the module is $670-$800 NEW (part alone)Remanufactured module about $450.00 with a $50.00 core charge its a plug and play module, so no proprietary software is needed for this module. I am sorry for your woes.
