Question

I have a cub cadet lt1050.
this morning I was driving it when it suddenly stopped. There is no power, the lights dont turn on. it appears as if some wire broke or a fuse blew.
Is there a master fuse on this model. I am unable to locate one.

Do you have a voltmeter to perform some electrical tests?

no I do not

Answer

See attached link. It will show the location of the fuse. It will be under the hood in the main harness in front of the dash. These electrical problems can sometimes be rather time consuming. A voltmeter will be required to perform some tests. If you do not have one you may be better off taking it somewhere to have it looked at. Let me know and we will continue.

I have printed the page you sent. does figure 4.8 show the fuse?

Answer

Yes, the fuse is the yellow item to the right of the bolt head in the picture.

I just took this pic out to the mower and there is no fuse there. there is a plastic box outside of where the large bolt is shown in your pic. it appears to be some type of connection;.

I am thinking that this model has the fuse in another area. the owners manual clearly states that it takes a 20amp fuse.

Answer

The fuse will be in the main harness under the dash. Most are in the location, but I have seen other that are just in the harness and not bolted to anything.
