Question

I have a 1995 740 iL BMW that just had the stabilizer bars replaced. I basically watched the guy do it. He only had to do some banging on the old bars to get them out. Otherwise he did nothing else. He lowered the car of the lift to move it to another bay for alignment, and it WILL NOT START.
They bypassed the ignition and jumped the starter coil- The motor turns over-no problem, but will still not start. They've tried Checking the battery, every fuse, they put the computer on it and it said nothing was wrong. The've also tried re-programming the keys which did not work. It sounds like a factory alarm cut-off switch. I was wondering the fastest way to check it and where it is. Is it the EWS Isee on the blogs? These guys and I are at our wit's end. Thanks, Tom.

Already Tried:
Battery charge and disconnect(2-3 minutes)to try to reset the alarm,by the way the keys work O.K. as far as arming and disarming the alarm. Checked all fuses and tried re-programming keys(which I did not agree with)

I'm sorry I was away from the computer(watching these guys go crazy to figure out what's wrong with the car). Are you still available. Yes, it does happen with both keys. That they have tried to reprogram. Thanks,Tom.
