My cat has what looks like dried blood underneath is mouth chin area it wipes off but seems to return within a few days the hair isn't missing but very visible...

Let me get a little more info. What type of bowls do you use to feed her? Does she go outside where she might have contact with other animals?

Strictly indoor cat always has been up to date with all needles tested negative for fiv and felv 2 times eats both dry and wet cat food uses a stainless steel bowl for both water and food..

Ok, thanks for the info. This sounds like your baby has a condition called "Kitty Acne". This is basically blackheads that develope on the chin and lips. The reason that it keeps returning is that the oil glands on the chin keep producing oil. If all you have to do is wash the chin regulary then thats good. There are other topical treatments that can help but they aren't going to stop the oil production which is causing the acne. Here is a link that explains more about what may be going on.
