Jim for some reason these dash lights are bad about burning out. They take a special bulb. #74 bulbs sold at auto parts stores will fit, but it is a tight fit, and they will eliminate the problem. Check to see if you have tail lights, I believe they are on the same fuse as the dash lights. You could also have other problems in the wiring, like a bad power or ground wires to the lights. It would be a good idea to get a repair manual at the auto parts store to show the wiring, and the procedure to pull the instrument panel to replace the bulbs if necessary.
